Emery family appreciates support

To the Editor:

The family of Harold L. "Buck" Emery would like to thank the Greene County Ambulance Service, the nurses on the third floor of Greene County General Hospital, and some of the other staff members working there for the care and concerns shown the family.

We'd also like to thank:

To Jenkins Funeral Home for the excellent care to the details of Dad's funeral.

To Rev. Arlen Pope and Erin Raper for the caring service and memories.

Thank you Floyd's Flowers for the beautiful work you did. Thanks Deann for the picture of Bear.

Nickie thanks for the poem.

Antioch Christian Church for the use of the community building, Mansions in Heaven and First Christian Church for the delicious meal from all three after the service.

Thanks to the American Legion Post 196 for the memorial service.

The Bloomfield School District, Bloomfield bus drivers, Bloomfield State Bank, and Hasler Oil and family for the food, flowers and all other acts of kindness.

And to the countless other acts of kindness with food, flowers, cards, hugs and tears that made this difficult time easier.

Dad was truly a Bloomfield legend.

Thank you for good workmanship

To the Editor:

We want to thank the people who have been working on the remodeling of our home. If you need any work done, you will not find any better workmanship than Scott Huddleston Contracting and his crew, Travis Gorby and Glenn Orman; Perry Deschamp and his crew, Michael Deschamp, David Deschamp, and Eddie Webb; and for interior and exterior painting, The Painter's Edge with Laura Kramer and Rick Cash.

All of them have been so caring, considerate, helpful, accommodating, on time (when they say they will be there they are there), and patient with time changes that needed to be made.

They are Greene County folks who get a big thank you from us for a job very well done.
