Noble Lantrip

Noble Lantrip, 95, of Greenfield and formerly of Crane, passed away 9:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Sugar Creek Rehabilitation Convalescent Center, Greenfield.

Noble was born Aug. 8, 1916 in Dawson Springs, KY to John Sherman and Millie Elizabeth (Rucker) Lantrip

Noble retired from NSWC Crane in 1978 after 30 years service.

He is survived by one son, John (Ruth) Lantrip, New Palastine;

one daughter, Beverly K. Killian, Kokomo; 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Jane (Dale) Lantrip; one daughter, Diana Stevenson and one son, Steve Lantrip.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17 at the Worthington Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.
