Ormans to celebrate 60th anniversary

They were married at Olive Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. Elliott Horton on Oct. 20, 1951.

The Ormans have four daughters: Kim (David) Bemis of Westfield, Ind., Tammy (Monte) Nickless and Dee (Dale) Hardisty, both of Linton, and Sara (Scott) Padgett of Tampa, Fla.

They have 11 grandchildren: Shawn Bemis, Baltimore, Md.; Laura (Nate) Newby, Sheridan, Ind.; Ross Bemis, Westfield, Ind.; Andrea (Jason) Murphy, Austin Ark.; Ashlee (Abel) Lopez, Danville, Ind.; Anna (Edward) Bonner, Linton; Amy (Ryen) Fondriest, Belle Chase, La.; Dalton Hardisty, Riverside, Calif.; Dylan Hardisty, Terre Haute; and Emily and Ryan Padgett, Tampa, Fla.

They have 10 great-grandchildren: Abigale and Peyton Bemis, Keaton Hammack, and Taylor Newby, Kody Bemis, Annabelle and Gabriel Murphy, Jacob and Maya Lopez and Liberty Fondriest.
