Lady Cards lose in four

Hitting mistakes cost Bloomfield, who came up on the short end of a 20-25, 27-29, 25-23, 25-27 score at Shoals Thursday night in a high school volleyball match.

The Lady Cardinals dropped to 10-16.

"We had 29 kill errors," said BHS coach Susie Schulte. "That was your game right there.

"We gave them 29 points and lose by two. We swung a lot, but you've got to get it in and over the net."

The junior varsity won 25-24, 25-19 as Taylor Graf was 5 of 5 serving.

Bloomfield will conclude the regular season at 10 a.m. Saturday at home against North Knox.

The Lady Cardinals will begin play at the Class 2A Eastern Greene Sectional at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Sullivan.
