Great job Union students for helping

To the Editor:

A special thank you to Union High School Fellowship of Christian Students and their teacher/sponsor, Todd Gambill.

They very generously donated food to the Pleasantville United Methodist Church Food Pantry. We are so proud of all your efforts to support the food pantry during this Christmas season.

Please help with

Cass railroad crossing

To the Editor:

This is about the railroad crossing and fast trains. They have been going fast 40+ mph for months now.

I live at Cass and have complained and tried to get warnings at 700 E here at Cass. Traffic here is going fast, even though there is a 35 mph speed limit on this road.

They go fast and don't even stop at the stop signs! We need a flashing light or arms to keep someone from dying here at Cass.

I've called Indiana Rail Road with no interest from them! There's no warning signs of fast trains! We need road bumps to slow this traffic down and warning lights of the fast trains before a deadly crash happens.

Clayton family appreciates support

To the Editor:

The family of Edna Clayton wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation for all the expressions of sympathy from our community at the time of our mother's passing.

A special thank you goes to Pastor David Tyra and the First Baptist Church family, the staff of Glenburn Rehabilitation Unit and Dr. Esguerra, and the folks at Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home. Your acts of kindness will not be forgotten.
