Thank you to the hospital

To the Editor:

I wanted to take a moment to thank the emergency room staff at Greene County General Hospital on Election day/evening for taking such great care of our 6-year-old son, Luke. The staff went above and beyond to help Luke with his illness.

My family would also like to acknowledge the special attention and care demonstrated by nurse Jacqui Suthard, Dr. Lewis, and Matt Robbins. They all were willing to not only take care of our son but also answer any concerns that we had about Luke's illness. There wasn't a moment during our visit that Luke, my wife, Christy, or I had a question about what was next because they explained the steps and procedures so thoroughly.

Jacqui was outstanding in working with our son to make the best out of a situation in which he was obviously in pain. For that, we are very grateful.

Thank you again to the staff at the Greene County General Hospital. Your contributions and efforts are recognized and appreciated.
