Linton family Appreciative for Generosity of Community

The second annual memorial scholarship benefit held to honor the memory of Mirisa Jones surpassed last year's benefit in both monetary gains and blood donations.

Mirisa's scholarship is a $1000.00 award that is supported by the Greene County Foundation and is given annually in May to a Linton-Stockton High School Senior obtaining a college degree in the medical field.

Indiana Blood Center was able to accept 47 of the 67 donors who came to donate blood in memory of Mirisa.

We would like to thank the Preeclampsia Foundation of Indiana for the very important education they shared with our community. We would also like to thank radio stations 106.7, Hi-99, and 102.7, WTWO (Channel 2 news), & WTHI (Channel 10 news) for the outstanding advertisement in regards to this benefit.
