WRV defeats Loogootee

Trent Carpenter homered and Ethan Sparks picked up the win as the White River Valley Wolverines stopped host Loogootee 4-2 in a non-conference baseball game on Saturday.

WRV plated solo runs in the second and seventh sandwhiched around a two-run outburst in the fourth while pounding out six hits.

A combination of four WRV hurlers allowed just three Loogootee hits.
