Linton-Stockton defeated Bloomfield 3-2 and Princeton 6-4 to place first in its own junior varsity softball tournament Saturday.
Bria Templeton had a double and two RBI against Bloomfield She also was the winning pitcher, allowing seven hits and two earned runs.
Katie Hancock scored the go-ahead run on a double by Templeton in the fifth.
Bridgett Hollifield had an RBI single to drive in Amanda Henico.
Against Princeton, Adrena McDonald pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs. She helped herself with two hits and two RBIs.
Templeton allowed four runs over 3 2/3 innings to earn the victory. Templeton struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits.
