WRV netters finish third

The White River Valley girls tennis team placed third at the Sullivan Invitational Saturday.

The host Lady Arrows won with 18 points. Washington Catholic had 13 points, WRV scored 11 and West Vigo was fourth with eight points.

Jenny Wagner of WRV finished as runner-up in the No. 1 singles competition, losing to Sullivan senior Taylor Shake 7-6, 6-2 in the title match.
