Union golfers lose at Clay City

The Union boys golf team dropped a dual match with Clay City 185-213 Monday at Hoosier Hills.

Mike Foglesong was low for the Bulldogs with a round of 48 followed by Blake Camden with a 54, Luke Manuel with a round of 56, Skylar Mesey with a 60 and Melidian Maze with a 61.

"I thought this was a good course for us to score low on," UHS coach Jesse Rosborough said. "We still need to work on our short game. We need to learn the touch around the greens.

"I would like to see us get our team scores below 200."

The Bulldogs return to action Friday against Bloomfield and North Knox at the Sullivan Elks Club.
