Letter to the Editor

Open Letter to the Eastern School Board:

Thank you so much, for your service to our community. I know it is your job to supervise and evaluate the superintendent. I know that we elected you to do that. I know that you are divided on some issues--so is the community.

Especially in this time of transition, I appreciate the time and work and prayers you put into your job and appreciate that you have done so with dignity despite very public criticism. I must respect that you have all--all seven of you--voted your conscience. No one can criticize you for that. That is why you were elected--to represent the entire community and consider input from all. Thank you.
