Why not let Hoosiers vote

At some point, you have to ask yourself, "Why is the liberal left working so hard to prevent Hoosiers from having a chance to vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (HJR 3)? Why not let the citizens of Indiana decide? What are they afraid of?"

The answer is simple -- they are afraid of common sense, Hoosier values. They are afraid of YOU!

They are afraid of the mechanic who knows two bolts alone aren't much good, and two nuts alone aren't much good, but a bolt and a nut properly joined holds the machinery together. They are afraid of the farmer who understands pollination and the cattleman who knows two heifers fenced together will not produce spring calves. Liberals are afraid of white-haired grandmas who start each day reading a little of the Good Book, and have enough sense to believe God's opinion on things over Hollywood's opinion. They are afraid of house wives who are smart enough to read the "tolerance" curriculum in our public schools and see it for what it is -- a recruiting campaign by immoral perverts who wish to woo elementary children into an unnatural lifestyle. They are afraid of blue-collar work ethic and white-collar business sense, because both produce men and women who think for themselves. They are afraid of Sunday School and Mass, morals and manners, preaching and prayer. They seem especially terrified of a King James Bible.

Why all the political tap-dancing? Why not let us vote? The answer is simple -- they fear us. Hoosiers are an independent bunch. We, for the most part, detest political correctness, especially when if flies in the face of what is truly right. Our Midwest values and common sense approach to life prevents us from being hood-winked by left-wing, extreme ideology. Liberals need mindless followers, and we just "ain't" cut from that fabric. We don't swoon over Mrs. Obama's tweets, or worship at Rosie O'Donnell's feet. We didn't reset our moral compasses after watching the Grammys. Liberals fear Hoosiers will sort through an emotional wave of left-wing propaganda and find the truth. They fear your vote.

Why all the attempts to keep this referendum off the ballot on November 4th? Come on. What are they really afraid of?
