Heaton, Chesnut earn post season honors

The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association recently announced its all-District teams for the 2014 season.

Bloomfield's No. 1 doubles team of Hunter Heaton and Alex Chestnut were named to the District 7 squad.

Heaton and Chestnut were sectional champions and finished the season with a 20-4 mark while playing at No. 1 doubles.

They were a fixture in the starting line-up all season for the Cardinals, who set a school record with a 20-2 mark. The Cards were Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference champs as well as sectional champions at North Daviess.
