To the Editor:

Are you sick and tired of the same old boys politics? There is an answer. Greg Sapp for councilman in District 7. You have a choice.

Greg Sapp is a fine Christian young person and a business man. He looks young but he has a great business head on his shoulders. He manages a business at West-gate Crane. He knows how to budget money to make sure he gets the most out of his money.

He is active in the Linton Community and the First Christian Church. He is involved in the Linton Chamber of Commerce and I saw him working at the Chamber fish fry both in the spring and the fall. He is also active in the Rediscover Downtown Linton project.

Last winter after a big snow, I looked out the window and saw someone leaving. I didn't know who it was. Then another big snow came, and I looked out the window and saw a young man, Greg, out there shoveling snow, so I opened my door and called to him to come to the door. I tried to pay Greg, but he said "No, I'm just trying to help you. I thought you might need out." So, I thanked him and he was gone. He was just helping out an older person out of the kindness of his heart. He comes to speak to me almost every Sunday at church. Someone has taught him to be helpful and kind to people.

I am so happy to see young people want to get involved in our city of Linton. Greg Sapp and Chris Wathen have experience with big budget money. Please vote for some smart young Gentlemen for our city council. Greg would always do the right thing and not always go along with the "Good Old Boys."

With today's technology, things are not the same as in my day. That's why we need technology minded people in today's world. They could bring a lot to the table to make Linton a better place to raise our children and keep them here.

I am asking you to vote November 3rd for a change in Linton. We need young people who will stay here to raise their family and make a living here.

Thanks and God Bless!

Virginia A. Lee
