Letter to the Editor:

We had a wonderful turn out to last Friday Nights game against West Washington when we took Regional. Now this Friday night at home we will be playing N. Vermillion for the Semi-State title. I am asking every one in Linton and surrounding towns if you want to come to please come out and help us support our Linton Miners, their coaches and families and be the part of a BIG WIN. Lets PACK THE TRACK body to body all the way around no matter what the weather is doing. If its cold wear more clothes and get body to body around the track that should keep you warm. I will bet you will not be sorry that you came to the game. These boys have worked there tails off for the coaches, their families and our town. They just are asking for some support that we certainly can give them.

The Cheerleaders have been doing a fantastic job as well, trying to get us all pumped up so we can keep the boys pumped up. Some of the players wave their hands so we will stomp and yell and clap our hands. Lets not let them down. Please come to the game Friday night and experience the joy of taking Semi-State and move on to Indy for the State Championship. COME ON MINER FANS YOU CAN DO IT. Business's get involved, paint those windows and show your support to our Linton Miners. What better way to wash your windows afterwards. Lets pull it together for our Boys and the coaches. BRING IT ON MINERS, FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS FOR FRIDAY NIGHT.
