Three county teams crack the Top 20 in this week’s poll

The Associated Press ranked three county boys basketball teams in the Top 20 polls that came out today.

Linton was ranked sixth in the Class 2A poll. The Miners fell to Vincennes Lincoln (3-5) 36-33 Tuesday night.

Voters selected Shakamak (6-1) at the No. 6 team in the Class 1A poll. The Lakers are idle this week.

Bloomfield (4-3) was chosen as the No. 11 team in the Class 1A poll. The Cardinals fell 71-32 to Bloomington South (6-2) Tuesday night.
