Sherry L. Bonham, 67, of Dugger passed away on Friday, Jan. 13 at her home in Dugger.

She was born March 17, 1948, in Sullivan County, the daughter of Raymond Bogard and Alice Marie Bennett Bogard.

Sherry was employed as a nurse at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility for 16 years. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Linton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers; Gerald Ray Bogard, Dean Bogard, Jerry Bogard, Terry Bogard and Bobby Bennett.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Bonham of Dugger; two sons, Jerry Bonham (Mary) of Dugger and Vertis Bonham (Summer) of Dugger; two daughters, Sonja McCulloch (Kenny) of Fairbanks and Tina Gourley Parker of Sullivan; three brothers, Jim Bogard (Linda) of Mt. Carmel, Ill., Rick Bogard (Cathy) of Sullivan and Jay Bennett (Wendy) of Merom; one sister, Carolyn Hendricks (Henry) of Russellville, Ky.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery located in Dugger.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan.
