Jasonville City Council defines public safety funds

During the regular meeting of the Jasonville City Council on Feb. 12, Police Chief Jim Gadberry requested that the new public safety tax designate 65 percent to police and 35 percent to the Fire Department. Gadberry intends for the funds to be used for overtime, building maintenance, vehicles, training and up-to-date Kevlar vests among other things.
