Joshua Lee Bean

Joshua Lee Bean, 34, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018.

Born April 29, 1983 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Edmund L. and Stephanie Sue (Lee) Bean. He was a maintenance technician for Indiana Laborers Training Trust Fund in Bedford and a 14-year member of LiUNA Local 204, Terre Haute. Josh was very proud of his three children and will be sadly missed by his wife Ashley and everyone who knew him.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Ashley Ann (Hamilton) Bean, whom he married June 24, 2006; his children, Mackenzie Lynn Hamilton-Bean, Tyler Wesley Bean and Trenton Lee Bean all of Bloomfield; his parents, Ed and Stephanie Bean of Doans; two sisters, Jessica Sellers (Joshua) of Corydon and Jamie Bean of Bloomfield; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Doris Bean of Terre Haute; maternal grandmother, Mary Lee of Terre Haute; mother-in-law, Tena and Jefferson House Jr. of Linton; father-in-law, Wendell Hamilton of Switz City; two sister-in laws, Wendy Bailey (Grant) of Linton and Elizabeth House of Sullivan; one brother-in-law Richard House and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry W. Lee and an uncle, David S. Lee.

Public visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with a short service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Sam Hill officiating. Interment will follow at the Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.

Following the Interment, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Greene County 4-H Building, 4503 W. St. Rd. 54, Bloomfield.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Ashley Bean, for the children of Joshua Lee Bean.
