Club volleyball results for 16u

The Tier Ten 16u team has been busy. On Saturday, March 24 the team traveled to Indianapolis to participate in a tournament at The Academy Volleyball Club. Travel was tough due to the early spring snowstorm that brought 10 inches of snow to Indianapolis.
Fortunately the snow didn’t slow down the volleyball action. Tier Ten 16u won all their matches compiling a 4-0 record and winning the tourney. Team leaders for March 24 are as follows:
Aces: Abbie Staggs of BHSN (12), Digs: Hannah Patterson of OV (35), and Kills: Allie Goss of OV (28 - 0.367). Taylor McKim of BHSS served 61 times over 4 matches with zero errors.
Saturday, April 7, the team traveled to Plainfield to participate in a tourney hosted by Circle City Volleyball Club.
“Our team is improving each week," head coach Adam Goss said. "We got off to a bumpy start on our first trip to Plainfield and really wanted to perform better this time.” Tier Ten 16u finished on top, winning their second straight regional tournament. They tallied another 4-0 record and outscored their opponents by nearly three-to-one.
Stat leaders are as follows:
Aces: Taylor McKim of BHSS (9), Digs: Hannah Patterson of OV (13), and Kills: Allie Goss of OV (31 - 0.596).
Tier Ten 16u has three more tournaments to round out the season: two more trips to the Indianapolis area and the season finale in Knoxville, Tenn.
“It’s been a great club season," Goss said. “We’ve seen improvement from nearly every position and getting better while having fun is what club volleyball is all about. I think there are some high school coaches in the area that will be pleased to see their players return in the fall.”
Tier Ten 16u is comprised of players from surrounding schools including Bloomfield (Cassity Harris and Sydney Query), White River Valley (Mia McDonald), Owen Valley (Allie Goss, Hannah Patterson, and Hannah Elliott), Bloomington North (Abbie Staggs) and Bloomington South (Taylor McKim, and Hannah Miller). They practice at Tier Ten Sports Campus in Spencer and are coached by Adam Goss and Rachel Farrar.
