Two WRV students earn right to BPA Nationals

Brandon Wood and Jonathan Clevenger show off their hardware for Business Professionals of America State competition which earned them the right to advance to Nationals.

Jonathan Clevenger, a junior at White River Valley High School, placed 3rd in the Network Administration Using Microsoft event at Business Professionals of America state competition on Tuesday, March 13 in Indianapolis. Brandon Wood, a junior placed 6th in Fundamentals of Spreadsheet. Both students will represent the state of Indiana in their respective competitions at nationals in Dallas, Texas, May 9-13.

Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a national organization for high school and college students preparing for careers in business and office occupations. The organization's activities and programs complement classroom instruction by giving students practical experience through application of the skills learned at school. Business Professionals of America acts as a cohesive agent in the nation-wide networking of education, business and industry, and is contributing to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.
