Children of all ages came to see Santa arrive by rail Saturday in Bloomfield. Children and parents were lined up more than a block to see Mr. Claus as he arrived where the rails cross Seminary Street, despite light rain.
The Indiana Railroad and its employees deliver this Christmas gift to the towns and families along the railroad. This annual, free event allows children of all ages to give their list to Santa. The train also carried several popular characters to thrill the kids as they waited in line. Characters included Batman, Princess Leia, The Grinch, Mickey Mouse, Shrek and many more.
