Linton Country Porch on west side robbed

The Linton Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a Linton convenience store Saturday, Feb. 22.

Linton Police Chief Paul Clark confirmed that Saturday night between 10:15-10:30 p.m., the Country Porch on the west side of Linton was robbed at gunpoint.

"An armed assailant went into the gas station and demanded money from the register," Clark said.

The Linton Police Department is investigating the incident.

As of Monday morning, Chief Clark said the department is still working through witness statements and physical evidence from the scene.
