Bloomfield Town Hall closing office starting Friday, employees still accessible by phone
The Bloomfield Town Hall issued a notice Tuesday morning to announce the closure of the front office of the town building, but employees will continue to be accessible to customers through other avenues.
"Due to COVID-19 information and safety concerns, we have decided to take precautionary measures to reduce exposure for our employees and community members.
Beginning Friday, March 20, 2020 until further notice, the Town of Bloomfield Municipal Building (town hall) will be closed to the public.
Payments may be made using our drop box located inside the front door of the municipal building (town hall) or mailing your bill to the address on your billing card. If leaving payments please pay with either a check or money order and not cash.
Town employees will remain working during this time. If you have utility concerns or questions please contact 812-384-4114 opt. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and leave a message.
If you need law enforcement services please contact Greene County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch at 812-384-4411 opt. 1 or 911 if it is an emergency
