FREE ACCESS: Hamilton Center locations remain open with restrictions

Thursday, April 2, 2020

Cindy Rotman of Hamilton Center announced Thursday that both of Hamilton Center’s Greene County locations, in Linton and Bloomfield, remain open during the coronavirus pandemic. As a healthcare organization, Hamilton Center qualifies as an “essential business”.

According to the Hamilton Center website, restrictions have been put in place to protect the public.

All Hamilton Center locations have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting processes. Additionally, all consumers and staff will be screened prior to entering any Hamilton Center, Inc. location until further notice.

Where applicable, alternative methods will be used to deliver services, such as phone and video conferencing through Zoom. Customers in need of frequent or daily contact will continue to receive services from their care manager, when possible; this may include phone and/or video conferencing sessions.

Appointments with nurse practitioners and psychiatrists will continue using alternative formats such as phone and/or video conferencing, whenever possible. Consumers will continue to have access to medication pick-up, though scheduling may change.

Outpatient offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those needing to be seen face to face.

Group therapy will be replaced with individual therapy, as appropriate.

Greene County Hamilton Center locations are in Bloomfield at 431 E. Main St (812-384-9452) and in Linton at 1001 Lonetree Road (812-847-4435).
