FREE ACCESS: Linton Municipal Facilities to Remain Closed

Friday, April 3, 2020

Linton Mayor John Wilkes issued a public notice Friday afternoon on his decision to keep the City of Linton’s municipal facilities closed.

“If you need to conduct business with the City, please contact that specific department to conduct the business over the phone.”

This includes Linton City Hall and Municipal Utility office lobby. Both will be closed until further.

Customers can make utility payments using the dropbox, the drive-through window, by mail, at www.cityoflinton.com, or by credit card payments over the phone at (844)-200-2462.

“The drive-up window will likely have increased traffic with the lobby being closed, so I ask customers to please be patient with our utility clerk,” Wilkes writes.

He ended the notice by reiterating that he would continue to monitor developments on the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In the meantime, I ask you to continue to follow Governor Holcomb’s directive and, as a community, do our part to flatten the curve.”
