Campus classes to resume at Vincennes University

Friday, June 19, 2020

A return to normalcy could be on the horizon for students at Vincennes University, albeit a few changes. At a meeting on June 17, the VU Board of Trustees discussed on-campus plans for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semester. The board determined that face-to-face and online instruction will begin on Monday, August 17 and end before Thanksgiving on November 24 in the fall semester, with exams being held remotely through December 11. The spring semester will start as a remote environment on January 19, with classes transitioning to on-campus instruction Monday, February 1. Finals for the spring semester will be delivered traditionally through Friday, May 7. Other changes include a shift in school breaks. Fall break will be from November 30 through December 1, instead of October 12 through 13. There will not be a traditional spring break in 2021, however, the break betweeen fall and spring semesters is extended by one week.
