Greene County votes by the numbers
President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence had 74% of the vote in 2016. Currently at 75% in 2020. An insignificant increase.
Big increase in 2020 for Governor Eric Holcomb in Greene County. Went from 50% in 2016 to over 65% of the county vote.
Jeff Ellington with 63% of the county vote for State Rep in 2016. Has 71.5 % against Alyssa Bailey today.
Straight ticket Republican ballots saw a big jump from 2016 with 4,810 straight-party votes compared to 2,842 in 2016. Democratic straight-party votes saw a smaller increase from 814 in 2016 to 950 this year.
The number of registered voters in Greene County has gone down from 2016 from 21,708 to 20,365.
Voter turnout in the county was higher than four years ago though as it went from 65% to 73.66%. Total votes in the county went up from 14,191 to 15,001.
