In two weeks, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb intends to relax the statewide precautions currently in place which are meant to stem coronavirus spread, even though the state’s top health official cautioned Hoosiers on Wednesday that it’s still too early to return to “normal” life. This means no more state mask mandate or COVID-19 business restrictions. Holcomb referenced Indiana’s steep declines in coronavirus hospitalizations and death rates along with the growing number of people fully vaccinated to justify the steps starting April 6.
