Dana Ray Chambers

Dana Ray Chambers, of Solsberry, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence.
Born August 13, 1945 in Bloomington, he was the son of Raymond and Kathryn (Burris) Chambers.
Dana retired from RCA and also drove a truck for Phoenix and the United States Postal Service. He served his country in the Vietnam war in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion and AMVETS.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Tina Nalley (Kenneth), Marla Deckard (Bobby) and Stacy Stewart (Ernie Langley); his grandchildren, Lillian Boruff, Kenneth Nalley, Jr., Natasha Sinn, Samuel Dana Dale Nalley, Lindsey Corley, Andrew Deckard, C.J. Goens, Joey Goens, Jeremiah Goens and Elizabeth Langley; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy (Arthur) Chambers on November 17, 2019; his siblings and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Donna Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow in Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
