Barbecue, Blues & Brews Festival returning to Bloomfield Saturday

This Saturday, May 11, the Barbecue, Blues & Brews Festival will return for its third year.

To start the day, the American Legion will host breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 125 S. Washington St.

A BBQ Cook-Off will highlight Saturday’s events as teams from around the state will compete.All proceeds will go toward Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization and future community projects.

A free-entry cruise-in, sponsored by State Farm Insurance, will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and participants can enter via Mechanic St. and continue west toward the intersection of Franklin St. and Mechanic St..

Vendors, food trucks and craft breweries and wineries will be in attendance. Live music will be provided.
