  • We named our golden retriever Addison after the address to Wrigley field. Yes I am a Cub fan. :)

  • I'm really bad about calling my pup all of the following:

Bark Twain (After the famous Samuel Barkens)

    Samuel L. Barkson

    Barkington Bear

Barks-a-Lot (the musician who had the hit song "Baby Got Bark")

I've probably given him a complex.

  • Also, bhobbs, in college, I heard of a couple naming their twins Clark and Addison. Apparently the wife was a big Cubs fan, while the husband was a big Supermman fan.

  • We have a white lab named Marshmallow. We also had her sister that was a chocolate lab for awhile. Her name was Cocoa. We have a yorkie named Max, a cat named Gizmo, a guinea pig named Cagey, two mice named Stewart and Squeakers, and lots of fish with all kinds of names. Can you tell most were named by the kids? We love them, all!

  • We call our mini schnauzer Sofie Circles cause she whirls in circles when she gets excited and our other dog Molly Barker for the obvious cause she loves to bark.

  • My wife also reminded me that our first dog was named Falcon. Because I loved Louis Lamour's books and Lando Sackett's father was Falcon. My sons also bear the Sackett name tradition.

  • My first boxers name was Caleb. The second boxer I had was named Cherokee Spike, then we had a third boxer named B's Bouncing Bruiser. We have had several other boxers named Sheba, Daisy, Roudy and Little Bethsheba. It is really hard to come up with names for the A.K.C. They want unusual names.

  • Had a dog when I was a kid named Rosie, not sure why we called her that.
