Southwestern Indiana Choral Festival

Shakamak High School was host to the 20th Southwestern Indiana Choral Festival on Tuesday night.

Junior high and high school students from Barr-Reeve, Bloomfield, Cloverdale, Eastern Greene, Linton-Stockton, Loogootee, North Central, North Daviess, North Knox, Shakamak, Shoals, Sullivan, Union, and White River Valley made up the choir.

Students spent the day rehearsing, under the direction of guest director Cheryl West, one of Butler University's Choral directors.

West is currently directing the Indiana Children's Choir and Indiana Youth Chorale, in addition to her duties as a Butler director.
