Shakamak defends sectional title, downs Bloomfield 4-1

Shakamak repeated as sectional champs with a 4-1 win over Bloomfield Monday at White River Valley. It is the 26th sectional for Laker baseball program as they score two in the fourth and fifth innings. Peyton Yeryar gave up just three hits in six innings to earn the win. Buddy Stone pitched the final inning giving up one hit. Brett Sherrard gave up just seven hits in a good effort for Bloomfield in the loss. Shakamak will play Southwestern in the Morristown Regional.
