Linton comes up just short against Mater Dei

In a competitive game for four quarters, visiting Evansville Mater Dei ended Linton's season for a fourth straight year. This sectional meeting was the most competitive as the Wildcats could never pull away from the Miners. Mater Dei was able to run out the clock to advance to the sectional final. Linton finishes the year 10-1 with it's first undefeated regular season since 2016.
