Trailblazers finish third in NJCAA Golf Tournament The Vincennes University golf team finished third in the NJCAA Division III golf tournament which concluded Friday on the par-72, 6,497 yard Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club in Jamestown, NY. Gov. Daniels declares disaster for 41 counties

Gov. Mitch Daniels today took the first step to obtain federal assistance for Hoosiers in central and south central Indiana affected by severe storms that began May 30. In compliance with federal regulations and Indiana Code, the governor signed Executive Order 08-09 to declare a disaster emergency in 41 counties -- including Greene -- with known destroyed and damaged residential properties because of tornadoes, severe winds, rain and flash flooding. ...
