State Police Investigate Double Homicide in Owen County

Two Patricksburg men were killed in a series of shootings involving family members in rural Owen County late Thursday night. Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Ringle said the shootings began at about 11:45 p.m. when Jack L. Coons, 72, walked from his mobile home to his daughter's mobile home, located approximately 100 feet away, and pointed a .22 caliber rifle at her.
