A citizens advocacy group formed to help save the White River Valley Worthington Elementary School from possible future closure has filed a formal complaint with Indiana Public Access Counselor citing violations of the Indiana Open Door Law. The complaint filed Thursday in Indianapolis by Save Our Schools (SOS) and signed by Mark Buckley, a Worthington area resident who heads up the group, cites that an executive session of the White River Valley Board of School Trustees conducted prior to a regular meeting May 24, 2012 did not give proper notification according to the Indiana Open Door law.. ...
