Linton man accused of OVWI, leaving scene of accident

A 52-year-old Linton man accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, sideswiping another vehicle, then leaving the scene of the accident, was arrested last Saturday and scheduled to appear in court early Friday. Tony Gene Peterson was expected to be charged in Greene Superior Court with: Operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, a class D felony; operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor; operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, a class D felony; operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more, a class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, a class D felony; and failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle, a class C misdemeanor.. ...
