Stadium seats will not be allowed on new bleachers in Linton-Stockton gym

New bleachers, of the molded plastic variety, have been installed in the Linton-Stockton High School gym. With the new bleachers, portable, stadium-style seats will not be allowed to be used. At the most recent school board meeting on July 21, the board decided by a 3-2 vote to not allow the use of portable stadium seats with the new bleachers. .....

Lady Miners show improvement at Braves Invitational

The Linton-Stockton High School girls golf team opened the season Tuesday at Rea Park in Terre Haute. They took part in the Braves Invitational, hosted by Terre Haute South. The Lady Miners finished 11th out of the 11 teams that competed. Senior Rachel Allen shot a 110 to pace Linton-Stockton. Junior Molly Wright carded a 118, Rylee Hollingsworth and Allie Walton each had 123s and Camryn Huffman shot 125 as the Lady Miners had a team score of 474...
