NWS forecast predicts winter storm to bring one-tenth of an inch of ice and 3-5 inches of sleet and snow to Greene County (Local News ~ 02/20/15)
According to weather forecasters, ice and snow are on the way to Greene County and all neighboring counties. At 6:30 a.m. Friday, Greene County was under a Wind Chill Advisory and a Level I Travel Advisory due to bitter cold temperatures and wind chills dipping well below zero degrees until mid-day. The Wind Chill Advisory will remain until 11 a.m. and the Travel Advisory declared by the Greene County Commissioners is in effect until 12 noon... -
