Power outage to occur at midnight on far east side of Linton (Local News ~ 08/20/15)
Residents and businesses on the far east side of Linton will experience a power outage late tonight (Thursday) around midnight that's expected to last for a couple of hours, but could last as long as four hours. Early morning break in at Markle's Music results in smashed window and stolen guitar (Local News ~ 08/20/15)
The Linton Police Department was on the scene at Markle's Music early in downtown Linton Thursday morning investigating a smash and grab theft involving a broken window. White River Valley Athletic Department Hosts Scramble

Over the weekend, the White River Valley Jr./Sr. High School (WRV) athletic department hosted their annual Golf outing. The outing was held at Phil Harris Golf Course in Linton and featured 15 foursomes. The day was filled with a lot of excitement as cash prizes were awarded to the first and second place finishers who finished the 18-hole course in 18 under par and 16 under par, respectively.
