James "Jim" Stephen Collins, 73, of 8040 W 200 South, Lyons, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born Jan. 29, 1942 in East Chicago, Indiana to Warren and Leona (McLin) Collins. James farmed in Knox County his entire life and was a Quartermaster in the Army during the Vietnam War.
