A Newberry woman is facing charges after allegedly battering two children in her home. According to a probable cause filed by Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Blake McCamey, law enforcement responded after a woman informed dispatched Lisa King, 48, had allegedly been physical with her and the children in the home on March 24. Saturday, April 8 Lyons Legion Post 479 will host karaoke night from 8 p.m. to midnight with services provided by Jim Dandee. Open to the public on Saturdays. Smoking allowed on patio only.
