The Linton Police Department responded to 11 incidents for service Thursday, including one alarm, two child custodies, one criminal mischief, one domestic dispute, one extra patrol, two juvenile complaints, one title check and one welfare check.

Joshua Michael Branson, 28, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. Bond set at $1,000 with 10 percent allowed.

The Lyons Town Council met in regular session 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10. The meeting immediately began with the council moving to finalize the sale of 345 W. Jefferson to Greg Squires.
