An accident at Cooprider Farms in Howesville resulted in a man being Lifelined from the scene. According to Clay County Sheriff Paul Harden, the victim fell from a 16-feet-tall ladder around 11:17 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2. and landed on his back. DNR signs emergency rule for 2017 deer season

An emergency rule was signed today by the Department of Natural Resources regarding the use of rifle cartridges for hunting deer, effective from Nov. 2017 until June 2020.
