Hunters can apply online for a reserved hunt by visiting hunting.IN.gov and clicking on the "Reserved Hunt Info" link. The online method is the only way to apply. Applicants must possess a hunting license valid for the hunt for which they are applying. Applications must be completed by the application deadline...

Arnold D. “Cowboy” Bedwell, 74, of Linton, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Coal County Hospital in Coalgate, Okla. He was born on Jan. 30, 1944, in Pleasantville, the son of Squire Bedwell and Irene Shake Bedwell. Cowboy served in the Army for almost twelve years. He served five tours in Vietnam and was wounded. Lyons Community Church proposes project to town council

The pastor of a local church approached the Lyons Town Council last week with a proposal which he said would benefit both the church and the community. Pastor Larry Weaver, accompanied by a dozen members of the congregation of the Lyons Community Church, asked the town if they would allow the church to create parking on the east side of the Town Park, which adjoins with the church property...
