Virginia E. Applegate, age 101 of Linton, passed away peacefully at 2:17 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born in Gilmore on July 5, 1918, the daughter of Elwin and Elizabeth (NIcholson) McBride. Virginia retired from Peoples Trust Company in Linton, where she worked as a bank teller for many years. She and her late husband, Bill, enjoyed traveling and golfing during their retirement...
