Dugger to celebrate homecoming Friday

The Dugger Union Lady Bulldogs will welcome the Vincennes Rivet Lady Patriots to the DUCS Fall Homecoming for a varsity only match on Friday, Oct. 9 beginning at 6 p.m. The Homecoming festivities will take place prior to the match.

GCSD sets $100,000 bond on Linton couple

A Linton couple have bonds set at $100,000 on meth related charges with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, investigator with Greene County Prosecutor’s office Joshua Goodman, Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson and Police Chief Ryan Van Horn began meeting with a confidential source during the month of July concerning a meth distribution ring. ...

Saturday’s SWIAC meet at Shakamak was never in doubt as to what team would win the boys meet. The question became what runner from Bloomfield would claim first overall? “They are so competitive between each other. All five of the top five boys race pretty well daily. Eastern Greene drops sixth straight game
